INSTALL gedit on Linux

 

• Open Terminal and type command

ceciot@cec-IOT:~/Desktop$ sudo apt update

(ask system password if you lock user account)

 

• Install Gedit

ceciot@cec-IOT:~/Desktop$ sudo apt install gedit

 

• For Installation -disk allocation query

Do you want to continue? [Y/n] Y

• After installation check and get Gedit through menu option
